Short weeks always tend to feel longer, don’t they? Your reward for making it to Friday? A few of our favorite discoveries:
As relatively new Atlantans (been here since 1/14), we’re (Ben & Jen) seeing a lot of change happening to the metro area. We love our East Atlanta 50’s rancher, and we couldn’t help but see how the neighborhood is shifting in just one year in this house. This Gentrification Calculator was pretty fascinating.
Probably my most favorite House Tour from Apartment Therapy. Ever. Such a ridiculously fun space, and a homeowner with both a wonderful sense of humor, and know-thyself-ism. If you create a home that is so authentically you, it’s bound to be awesome.
If you’re stuck on how to make your gallery wall feel unified, Megan Pflug just shared a beautiful, and super-fun option here. It doesn’t hurt that we’re always drawn to that gorgeous shade of cobalt.
SWOONING over these gorgeous handmade concrete lights from GANTlights of Berlin. That concrete and copper combo is so sleek.
I’ve had this (similar) (simple style, dark faux-wood finish) side table from Target since my college days, but paired next to a dark woven basket in our living room, it made the area seem so heavy and unbalanced. We easily punched it up with a little color, and now I’m so glad it’s one of the first things you see when you come in! Although… I wouldn’t mind pairing it with one of these bad boys as well.
Have a great weekend!
