Five on Friday: Volume 23

January 6, 2017

Welcome to the first Five on Friday of 2017! This week, we gathered together some things that we just found beautiful/fun/inspiring, and we hope you agree!

This collaborative workspace by ASSEMBLE is a gem of economic green design. While we’re incredibly partial to the handmade tiles on the facade, we love the surprise of the simple modern interior.

Moroccan style is always stunning, and the Nord-Pinus Tanger Hotel is no exception. Prepare yourself for you MOST. BEAUTIFUL. SHOWER. EVER.

A pretty interesting look at decorating based on your Myers-Briggs personality type. It’s less about specific style ideas, and more about creating a feel that suits you. We were pretty impressed with the accuracy of our descriptions.

A great home tour over at Apartment Therapy. It doesn’t feel overly “decorated”, it’s more of a great collection of fun and beautiful things that work well together. We especially love how she’s mixed vibrant pink and blue in several places.

It looks like 2017 is going to be the year of Green. After Pantone named Greenery their Color of the Year, Apartment Therapy named emerald the new statement sofa. And after checking out all their inspiration photos, we’re very much inclined to agree.

We’ll be photographing and sharing several new projects soon, and BIG NEWS: Meredith and her husband just closed on a house! We can’t wait to share all her plans and projects with you! Happy 2017!

Let's jump right into it, shall we? Last time we discussed our new custom cabinets: where they're going, why we need them, how we put them together, and how we use them. BUT, we didn't get to the crowning jewel: the handmade herringbone countertop. I … [Read More...]

Playing Pretend With a Girl’s Nursery

Baby Boy Muratet has been around for 2 months now, and we've got just a few finishing touches to go on his awesome nursery. (It's really just those last details- isn't the final 10% of a project the hardest to get done?) But, we've also got two … [Read More...]

Baby Muratet’s Nursery Plan

We welcomed our little boy to the world on March 13th, and I've been working on a plan for his room for quite some time. Is it nearly done? Obviously not. But you know what? Newborns can't see past about 14 inches away for the first little while, so … [Read More...]
