This week, we’ve got a roundup of lots of color, DIY-able changes for your space, and creative design solutions- enjoy!
Committing to color can be a challenge- that’s why we loved these ideas for incorporating color in unexpected places and small doses. Our favorite? Going bold in those room transitions! (We might have to go for it with #ProjectJenjamin!)
Because apparently all the clever ideas come from Sweden (via Bucks and Spurs): a modular kitchen on a rail system, so it can be constantly readjusted. It doesn’t hurt that the simple styling and handcrafted cabinets are stunning.
Spotted in a recent BHG, a truly stunning outdoor space. The team at Studio H Landscape Architecture focused on a simplified materials palette and created a dream yard. Idea to steal: the clever transition of the pavers between the ipe deck, turf, and stone garden. It unifies the different “flooring” spaces, while creating a fun graphic element.
It’s always fascinating to get a peek into the homes of the rich and famous, right? A quick look at some NYC homes of celebrities. We’ll need to ask Mr. and Mrs. Levine just how many friends they could fit on that insane blue sectional.
Tassels are in right now, and we love seeing how they can be wild and quirky or minimal and modern, but they always bring a fun element of movement and texture. Plus, so many of these looks are easily DIY-able! We’re partial to- well- all of it, so look for a tassel wall hanging, maybe like this one by Studio Cultivate (below), to make its way into #ProjectJenjamin sometime soon!
Sunday is the 1-year housiversary over at #ProjectJenjamin, so we’re excited to share what that milestone means for us. Have a great weekend!
