It’s one of our biggest goals to share doable projects that you can make your own. There are few things more satisfying than looking around your home and seeing things that you made. Going to sleep in the bed you built as a couple? Awesome. Sitting down for a family dinner at a table you made with your own hands? Awesome. Sitting down at your desk and facing a beautiful canvas you painted? Awesome.
While we’re so excited to share more projects with you, there will definitely be some trial and error when it comes to the right format for sharing them. Learning how to stop ourselves in the middle of something so we can photograph it is huge- we want to make sure that directions are clear and concise. And we also want to make sure we’re providing the opportunity for you to tailor a project to your specific needs. We’d love to hear feedback about what works and what doesn’t, so that any DIY projects we share are the best possible learning tool they can be. Our Skinny Powered Console is up next, but before we get to that, here’s the Project Key we developed to help you get a quick and clear idea of what each project might entail.
The project key includes general materials cost, time estimated to build, difficulty level, and (for fun) trips we took to the hardware store. Because there are usually many. You’ll find a project key at the top of every DIY post to help you assess what that build will be like.
We can’t wait to keep building with you!
